Nursery 8.40am - 11.40am & 12.10pm - 3.10pm*

* Up to 30hrs free childcare available.

Key Stage One (Infants) 8.45am - 11.55am and 1.00pm - 3.15pm

Key Stage Two (Juniors) 8.45am - 12.00pm and 1.00pm – 3.20pm

The school week is at least 32.5 hours

We have two main entrances/exits into school. The back gate and main school gate allow parents to enter from either end, which helps with parking. We kindly request that you walk to and from school as much as possible, parking can be difficult due to Residential Permit Only parking on streets around the school grounds.

Morning Routine

Nursery Children

Morning Nursery session begins at 8:40am, so please bring your child to the Nursery door for this time.

Infant Children

Infant children begin at 8.45am, gates open at 8.40am. Please walk with your child to their class and do not allow them to do this by themselves. Staff will be outside waiting to meet and greet your child. Parents should please stand back and allow their child to line up with their teacher and walk into school independently.

Junior Children

Junior children begin at 8.45am, gates open at 8.40am. Parents should not need to line up with their child at all. Please allow your child to walk and line up independently with their friends. They do this constantly in school e.g., at playtimes, lunchtimes and so do not need anyone standing with them. 

Obviously on the first day or two they may need a little support from you and of course this is absolutely fine. Once your child is settled though, please leave them with their class teacher.

End of Day Arrangements
Collecting your child at the end of the day:

At the end of the day, parents should wait outside classroom doors to collect their child.

Infant children finish at 3.15pm

Junior children finish at 3.20pm

If you have any questions about the beginning or end of the school day, please speak to a member of staff.

Other than on an official supervised trip, once you have left your children with us, they are not allowed to leave the school site during normal hours unless collected by a responsible adult known to the staff. If you do need to collect your child during school hours, you must always report to the Headteacher or School Office.

If you would like your child to walk home by themselves at the end of the day, please complete a consent form available at the school office. Please note that we only allow this for children in Year 5 or 6, children in all other classes must be collected by a responsible adult they know.

FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL CHILDREN, WE ARE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT VISITORS TO THE SCHOOL. ALL VISITORS, INCLUDING PARENTS, SHOULD REPORT TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE. PLEASE ENSURE ALL DOORS ARE KEPT CLOSED AT ALL TIMES. THIS IS TO PROTECT YOUR CHILD.
