Black History Month

Year 3 went to the library as part of Black History Month, to learn about significant historical events, from bus boycotts, to civil rights protests in America, to modern day anti racism campaigns.

This was organised by the African and Caribbean Association in Chesterfield.

It gave us lots to think about and gave us a much better understanding of how important it is to treat all people with respect and dignity.

Thank you to Councillor Ludwig Ramsey for talking to us and answering our many questions!
