Friendship Week

Odd Sock Day!

We want to make a noise and celebrate our differences this week for anti-bullying week!

Children have been given the name of someone in the class who they need to do an act of kindness for throughout the week.

We’ve also joined the BBC live lesson about friendship and thought about how we can be a good friend to others.

Infants had the best time with a visit from Big Bubble Theatre.

They enjoyed listening to Robin Hood and helped to act out how to be a good friend. The children showed some great acting skills too.

They also learnt all about the story of Robin Hood and had a go at acting it out ourselves- we knew we needed to ask a trusted adult for help when the bullies in the story appeared!

Junior classes loved their drama workshop with ‘SherNET Homepage’ this morning.

They spent time listening to stories and solving online bullying problems by acting out our solutions.

They know that if you have a problem with bullying online then you need to STOP, BLOCK and TELL!
