Children may arrive at 8.45am and enter their classes from this time via the Junior gate. Children should not arrive prior to this time for reasons of Health and Safety, as the front of school is not supervised before this time. Please make sure they are seen safely into the school building. Children should be brought to and collected from school by a responsible adult they know.
Registers will be taken at 8.55am prompt and any children arriving after this time will receive a late mark. A register of children arriving after 8:55 will be kept, so we can support parents of children who are missing a vital part of their education. Other than on an official supervised trip, once you have left your children with us they are not allowed to leave the school site during normal hours unless collected by a responsible adult known to the staff. If you do need to collect your child during school hours, you must always report to the Head teacher or School Office.
At the end of the day both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children will be collected from outside their classes. Parents/Carers can access this outside area via Junior Gate. If you would like your child to walk home by themselves at the end of the day, please complete a consent form available at the school office. Please note that we only allow this for children in Year 5 or 6, children in all other classes must be collected by a responsible adult they know.
FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL CHILDREN, WE ARE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT VISITORS TO THE SCHOOL. ALL VISITORS, INCLUDING PARENTS, SHOULD REPORT TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE. PLEASE ENSURE ALL DOORS ARE KEPT CLOSED AT ALL TIMES. THIS IS TO PROTECT YOUR CHILD.
